株式会社セブンシーズミュージックは1964年7月1日、キングレコードの系列音楽出版会社として設立されました。
以来、現在まで管理楽曲は国内制作作品で約30,000曲、外国作品では約40,000曲の多くを数えるまでに至りました。デジタル･メディア等の技術の著しい進歩によって、音楽著作物の管理、使用拡大の促進、新しい作品の創作開発、宣伝活動と音楽出版会社の機能はますます重要になっています。私たちは、管理楽曲の有効利用、権利者擁護、権利者還元をモットーに業務をしてまいります。

Since 1964
Seven Seas Music Co.,Ltd.was established as a music publishing company of King Records group on the 1st. of July in 1964. Since then to date, the number of our controlling compositions has amounted to approximately 30,000 domestically produced works and approximately 40,000 foreign works. This is thanks to not only songwriters, composers, production companies, all people in media etc. We would very much like to thank all of them for their support. The functions of music publishers such as controlling music copyrights, promoting and extending their usage, creating and producing new works, their publicity etc. has been getting still more important. Standing on this recognition, our company is going to devote ourselves to business. Our policy is to take advantage of our own compositions effectively, protect right holders and restore to right holders. We are also willing to take advantage of merit as a company backed by King Records to the full extent and make efforts on original projects and producing activities.
